Chalet

Agriturismo La Fredda takes its name from the area surrounding Golf Club Verona, between Sommacampagna and Custoza. The area is called La Fredda ("cool") because the rolling hills southeast of Lake Garda transform the fresh air off the lake into gentle breezes which mitigate the summer heat. In the past, Agriturismo La Fredda has given lodging and meals to many thousands of clients, thanks to whom we have been able to enlarge and improve the facilities.

Over the years, we've constructed everything on site in our own special way. Obtaining many interesting ideas from visits to foreign countries far and near, we have built unique rooms and apartments, as well as a diverse range of chalets and cottages. In accordance with environmental building criteria, we have used wood, cork, and solar panels in our construction. And the same sanitary, environmentally friendly principles govern our ongoing production of fruits and vegetables, olive oil, natural preserves, and various types of meat products. And why not? We're always the first ones to eat what we produce.

For more than 40 years, Costantina Perina, owner of the "La Fredda" farm, has worked in the agricultural sector, selling her own home-grown products directly to the consumer.

This method of working directly from producer to consumer has made La Fredda one of the first and most specialized sources of absolutely natural and genuine produce. But of course Costantina does not keep Agriturismo La Fredda going by herself. Among those who cooperate in the daily workload is her husband, Benedetto Corradi, an inventor of specialized cabins for long-haul trucking vehicles, whose aim is to improve quality of life for truck drivers. He is also the chief architect of on-site development at La Fredda, constructing all the rooms and chalets and independent flats with the help of their children, Angelo and Benedetta, who also assist in the production and preparation of items intended for use on-site or sale off-site.
