Agriturismo La Fredda is located in a unique position just outside Sommacampagna in the province of Verona, not far from anything you might want to visit in northern Italy. Our farm is situated at the foot of rolling hills which were once the scene of famous battles, but now produce famous wines, such as Bianco di Custoza and Bardolino. The Verona area features time-honoured agricultural traditions which boast excellent wines, exported and renowned throughout the world. Names like Amarone della Valpolicella, Soave, Bardolino, Valpolicella, Cabernet Veneto, and others not less important are all produced less than 20 km from our farm.

La Fredda is just 5 km from the Verona-Villafranca airport, with connections to take you anywhere in Italy or Europe . Nearby towns include Villafranca di Verona (4 km) and Mantua (25 km).

Directions: From the Milan-Venice motorway (A-4), take the Sommacampagna exit and turn right (toward Custoza) at the roundabout just after the tollbooth. Follow the road through the village of Sommacampagna, and you will come to another roundabout (with a small shopping centre, Il Sole, on the right as you approach the traffic circle). Go straight over the roundabout, always following the blue signs for Custoza. You can also follow indications for Golf Club Verona. Next, you will arrive at a traffic light: turn right, then go up the hill about 100 metres and turn left (in the direction of Custoza). Indications for La Fredda are also posted along the way. Finally, 1.7 km outside the village (i.e., past the final roadside homes), a road veers off the Custoza road to the left. Take that left (Via Fredda), go over a small bridge, and we are the first entrance on the left.
